BMW E21 323i 1981
If this BMW 323i caught your eye, you should know...
BMW 323i is the E21 edition you want to have. Built back in 1981 and still in very original condition, the car had only two owners from new. This top E21 model is finished in Chestnut Red Metallic (Kastanienrot-metallic) over a beige velour interior with matching door panels and carpets. Both exterior and interior are in excellent condition.
Beneath the recognizable shark nose, there is a fuel-injected 2.3-liter straight-six paired with a rare 5-speed manual transmission.
Mechanical components, including the engine, have been completely rebuilt. The car has passed only 500 km since.
Offered with the owner’s manual and service records. Equipment includes tinted glass and original BMW Bavaria S radio by Blaupunkt.
Well maintained, runs and drives like new. Accident-free.
Old enough to be a classics, but comfortable, feisty, and fast enough for the everyday drive.
Get in and enjoy the sound of the straight-six!
Something about the E21 generation and 323i
The BMW E21 is the first generation of the BMW 3 Series. Initial models were produced in a two-door sedan/coupe body style with carburetted four-cylinder petrol engines.
Fuel-injected engines were introduced in late 1975, and six-cylinder engines were added in 1977.
Back in 1977, when 323i was introduced, this was the top E21 model, the feistiest and most powerful in BMW’s range.
It is powered by a 2.3-liter six-cylinder engine using Bosch K-Jetronic fuel-injection. It accelerates to 100 km/h in 9.5 seconds and achieves a top speed of 200 km/h.
Production of the E21 began in 1975 and finished in 1983.
