Something about this Audi 100 Coupé S
Probably the least known, and certainly one of the most beautiful classic coupes, the Coupé S is the model that influenced the design of the modern Audi.
This 1976 Audi 100 Coupé S had only two owners since new. It has been stored in a garage and protected from sunlight for many years and is therefore in very good condition.
Powered with a 1.9. L engine producing a maximum power of 112 hp and a top speed of 185 km/h.
Finished in beautiful Marlin Blue Metallic that accentuates the coupe lines resembling Aston Martin DBS.
Since this was a low-production model that was usable, affordable, and very attractive, examples in such a preserved state are quite rare to find.
If you get behind the wheel of this classic beauty, you will both enjoy the drive and stand out for sure wherever you go.
History of the Audi Coupé S
The Audi 100 Coupé S is a sports fastback coupe GT developed by Audi under its VW group ownership. The car was first presented at the Frankfurt Motor Show in 1969 and put into production shortly after. Originally 30.787 units were produced.
The fastback version of the first modern Audi was powered by a 1.9L twin-carburetor inline-four engine delivering a power output of 115 hp. A change to a single carburetor in late 1972 resulted in 112 hp output.
In 1973 facelift, the Audi 100 Coupé S received a redesigned grille and new taillights.
